The Calchaquíes Valleys |

 Nature, customs, and history come together in the 530 kilometers that make up the Calchaquíes Valleys in the province of Salta. Through route 68, the towns of Cerillos, La Merced, and El Carril spur a winding road from the imposing Cuesta del Obispo (Bishop Hill), along el Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley) and later the bristly Parque Nacional de Cardones (National Cactus Park).
